A day in Hong Kong
October 19 I spent the day in Hong Kong, staying at the Mira Hotel (where one of my heroes, Edward Snowden, stayed in room 1014 and handed over the largest government classified info leak to journalists).
I arrived just as the weekend protests were over, and almost all traces of it had been cleaned up.
In the morning I walked to the Hong Kong Museum of Art, but it was closed for renovations, so then I headed to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre where I saw a weak Eastern European art exhibition. Luckily I will return next week, and hopefully I will have time to visit better art galleries and museums.
Before going to the airport via Uber (the subway was closed), I tried to get into the Don Don Donki, but it was too packed!
