If I go to the office, I complain that there are too many distractions: whether it is the boom-boom music form the downstairs SoHo store, my coworkers playing ping-pong, street art that requires my attention, or the temptation of a Japanese bento box or mochi with tea…
But if I stay at home, Calvin makes sure I am not as productive as I could be.

4 flights and 40 hours later (after having missed Japan Week), I am back in New York in the modern and technological Delta terminal (C, not D) at Laguardia Airport, with its tablets and card readers on all tables and bars at all bars and restaurants.What a difference from the Delta Terminal 4 at JFK! From Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 I was in Las Vegas receving an award (IBM 2013 Beacon Award for Best Industry Solution, Healthcare and Life Sciences).

When a coconut milk seared wild salmon with basmati rice dinner at home ends with these three desserts/gifts, you know it is sweet:
– I received an incredible Japanese assorted wagashi box from Minamoto Kitchoan (with a beautiful Hokusai “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” Ukiyo-e card)
– I gave her Momofuku MilkBar assorted cookies (of course, with the “compost” in the assortment) and b`day truffles
– Plus Wholefoods Market Dark Chocolate Pear Almond (Lindt had that flavor, and the discontinued it!
After MIT`s crazy week, back in NY I needed a couple of days of sleep and relax to get back into the normal rhythm. Luckily it was SuperBowl weekend, so the streets (and Chelsea Market) were fairly empty!
So on Tuesday I was ready to get going full speed ahead. First, after meeting with P. Oberton in the NYPL, then I went to Condé Nast publications` building, into Wired Magazine, to discuss a PR campaign/project along with Valencia Regional Minister of Industry (& etc) Max Buch.
