From Tuesday 15th until Thursday 17th I was in Malaga to attend the Transfiere trade-show with my colleague Bender.
On Tuesday I flew to London for the day to have dinner at Mosimann’s with with Dr. Omar Ishrak, Intel’s Chairman and former CEO of Medtronic and GE Healthcare, and Lord David Prior, NHS England Chairman.
After almost sixteen years, my company, Kanteron Systems, has succumbed to Covid19. Sixteen years of epic hours, constant travel and boot-strapping. The roller coaster ride has come to an end. I am proud, but I am also disappointed.
My wife and I were invited by UBS Industry Leaders Network to a very interesting event at the IBM Research Center in Zurich.
For a week I was in Bangkok working, presenting at a conference, but also enjoying art, food and shopping.
October 19 I spent the day in Hong Kong, staying at the Mira Hotel (where one of my heroes, Edward Snowden, stayed in room 1014 and handed over the largest government classified info leak to journalists).
October 17 and 18 I went to Shenzhen for more lectures, company visits, and pitch events.
