August 16th I was invited for an afternoon break at the Harvard Business School Dean’s House.
While maintaining my full-time role at Harvard Innovation Labs, I am delighted to announce my appointment to the Advisory Board of Lysando world leader in antimicrobial protein development.
In partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS Startups, at the Harvard iLabs we hosted (special mention to Leo’s organizational efforts) the inaugural NextGen Accelerator, a two-week founder bootcamp for early-stage student founders from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and universities in Sub-Saharan Africa (Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, and Tanzania).

I was asked to organize two events for Swiss investment bank UBS in Harvard: the NextGen23 Young Successors Community Event – Scientific Innovation in Harvard June 6-7, and the 10th Industry Leaders Network: Innovation in Healthcare June 8-9.
I was asked to attend and nominate speakers for the TEDxBoston AI + Future of Healthcare. I nominated 3 of my student teams (Ana-Maria, Mariam, and Amber) who did great on stage. The surprise came when I attended: I met my mentor from decades ago.
