Monkeying around is fun. Particularly when it’s with your colleagues as part of your job.
I was asked to organize two events for Swiss investment bank UBS in Harvard: the NextGen23 Young Successors Community Event – Scientific Innovation in Harvard June 6-7, and the 10th Industry Leaders Network: Innovation in Healthcare June 8-9.
I was asked to attend and nominate speakers for the TEDxBoston AI + Future of Healthcare. I nominated 3 of my student teams (Ana-Maria, Mariam, and Amber) who did great on stage. The surprise came when I attended: I met my mentor from decades ago.
On May 11th I was invited to judge Demo Day at MIT, and later I attended a workshop on generative AI and case method teaching at Harvard Business School.
The great annual event of the iLab, the President’s Innovation Challenge (where I was invited to be a judge), took place May 3rd and it was awesome.
May 2nd I attended two events: Venture Cafe’s ‘Charting the Future of Japanese Innovation’ at the Cambridge Innovation Center, and the Harvard Innovation Labs Alumni dinner at the Harvard Business School’s Spangler Center.
I’ve seen the Charles River has frozen before. But today’s temperatures are ridiculously cold… and dangerous.
