March 25 to 29 we “had to” accompany some friends visiting Ibiza (Spanish Balearic Island) from New York.

As most Valencians will tell you, you have to flee Fallas… unless you are “fallero/a” (participating member) or you have visitors in town. Then you brace yourself, and try to enjoy the madness one more year.

After my meeting in Brussels, before flying back home, there was something I had to do in Iceland. I was on a mission.

In order to attend a meeting of the Expert Group on Venture Philanthropy and Social Investment of which I’m a member, I had to spend a couple of days in Brussels.

On Wednesday I had breakfast in Fort Erie, lunch in Toronto, dinner on a plane, breakfast in Reykjiavik, lunch in London, and dinner in Brussels.

Sunday and Monday I went to Houston, Texas, for a couple of very important meetings.
