A day in Burano and attending a masquerade party.
A day in Padova (Padua), visiting the Basilica di Sant’Antonio and its amazing frescoes.
Doge’s Palace private tour before it opens to the public and private closed-doors tour of St Mark’s Basilica and the crypt (not open to the public).
For the next seven nights we’ve been invited to cruise the Po river in Italy on Uniworld S.S. La Venezia, calling at: Venice, Chioggia, Polesella-Ferrara, Porto Viro, Chioggia, Torcello-Mazzorbo-Burano, and back to Venice.
Thursday to Sunday NLC decided to take a team building ski trip to Zell am See (Austria). Not that we need much team building, as the whole group of people I work with gets along really well. But after years of WFH, these kind of trips really makes a difference.
I took a “long layover” in Amsterdam on the way back from Dubai that allowed me to go to the office two days.
