November 5th I was invited to speak at a couple of UBS Health Tech investors events in Dubai.

November 4th I was back in the airport, this time to fly to Dubai via Istanbul.

I must say I was impressed by the Turkish Airlines Lounge at the new Istanbul Airport: ironing service, piano, freshly made food, Scalextric, golf emulation, and its own art gallery. Amazing!

UBS had me stay at the very nice Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre, where, as so many other luxury hotels in the Emirates, you can see the hypocrisy in their laws, customs and policies: very Muslim, but lots of alcohol and prostitution in their roof-top bars. Nevertheless, their little precious breakfast at the Luna Restaurant & Lounge, and their cool pool were very nice.

November 5th in the morning I went to UBS offices to coordinate the message and update the latest research and figures for the presentation. Then we went to the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre for an investors lunch and presentation.

After a mid-day pool break, we headed to the Bvlgari Yacht Clvb Dubai, where the main event was held: “How health tech will revolutionize health care”.

The next morning I was back in the airport to fly back to Spain.
