Monday October 5 I took my family to the Sky Garden, at 20 Fenchurch St., London. It’s the UK’s highest public garden, and it’s free to visit although an online reservation is required.

Honestly, I wonder how come it took me so long to check it out. It’s awesome!

Despite the hordes of visitors, it does not feel overly crowded, offering different levels and spaces from where to admire the amazing view of London. Even on a rainy day like that Monday (then again, the odds are it will be a rainy or cloudy day anyway on London, right?), the views are magnificent.

Totally recommended for locals and tourists alike, it has become one of my favourite spots in the city (don’t tell the Southwark Centre I said that 😉
