May 9th and 10th I was invited to attend and exhibit at the largest tech event in Europe: TNW (Amsterdam).

Valencia Activa and VIT Emprende invited us as part of the 5 chosen startups from Valencia.

We arrived in Amsterdam Wednesday May 8th. A Tesla picked us up and took us to the Hotel De L’Europe, which has a great location, and is one of those “nothing stands out, but everything is perfect” elegant luxury hotel. Since it was already late, we dined in the hotel restaurant, the Hoofdstad Brasserie, which happens to be in the Michelin Guide. Amazing canal views, and classical brasserie menu.

The next morning I went to the event (which this year it has moved to the larger space offered by NDSM wharf), starting early with a delegation breakfast at Restaurant café de IJ-kantine. The schedule was manic: talks, presentations, workshops, one-on-one meetings, booths… With over 600 startups, 4000 companies, and over 17,000 people attending, it’s one big festival! During two days I met, talked and listened to everyone, from Guy Kawasaki, to venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, corporate fund managers, telecoms companies, experts, programmers…

Work aside, we enjoyed dinner at another Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant: The Lobby Nesplein.
